What do our parents say about HPA?
My husband was so impressed with our children's expertise that he joined too. Now they have a special bonding time together that will make a lasting impression for a lifetime. Sensei and Senpai Bauman are outstanding teachers and when you walk in everyone makes you feel at home. The Bauman family has done so many wonderful things for the youth in our community. This is a great place to send your child to learn a lifelong love, a passion for an art that is not a videogame or TV show. Get your kids off the couch and into a class that will improve their life with exercise and discipline.

Our family joined Hidden Path Arts when my son was just 5 years old. He arrived as a timid, nervous, emotional, and scatter brained 5 year old who did not know the meaning of focused discipline and team responsibility. I know, in retrospect, this is the definition of most 5 year old boys. But as his parents, and he being our eldest child, we were concerned that he would not have the necessary life skills to succeed in life. It turned out, as his parents; we too needed the growth and discipline that comes from being part of the dojo family raising a young martial artist.
We as a family have grown together in these disciplines. I have a much better understanding of my child and his desires and abilities. I have a much better understanding of the patience and listening skills required to be a good, supportive, understanding parent of a child who seemingly was "out of control".
To find a venue that gives our family these life skills AND makes it enjoyable for all is rare. We found that at Hidden Path Arts and through the leadership and support of Sensei Kim Bauman and Senpai Robert Bauman.
My son has confidence, drive, focus, respectfulness and empathy that were drawn out into the open by being involved in the martial arts programs at Hidden Path Arts. The sense of accomplishment and fortitude that he exhibits would not be there without the support of the dojo family. And by the way, he is only 6.
